The Mountain Trust was established in 2007 in Changla gali, with the aim to provide free education for poor children, who were not capable of paying their school fees and other expenses. The Trust was given land by the villagers for the school. The Mountain School Trust was established and started to provide education free of cost along with free school books & copies, uniforms, shoes and other education material. The school now charges Rs 10 per pupil per month.
The Trust had done a lot for poor people by not only giving them free education but also free medical facilities, also establishing stitching skill learning center for poor women. Trust constructed water springs for people so that they can easily get pure water. Trust distributes 4000 fruit plants every year to improve the environment and also aims that in future the village would benefit from these plants.
Our donors helped us and have encouraged us with their generous donations every year. The Villagers have given us land on which we plan to expand the school. Now days we are planning to build some more classrooms and we are collecting funds for this purpose. We aim to upgrade the school up to Higher Secondary level.
Mountain School Trust has helped a lot of poor people of Changla Gali to improve their lives and living standard . We hope one day we will be able to make them independent in every walk of their lives.
